Hello All,
Welcome to my blog! My name is Shahin Owji, and I am a pre-med student at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, graduating in the Spring of 2018. I have a variety of interests, and one of those interests is animals! Throughout my life I have always felt a close bond to animals of all kinds and have appreciated their companionship. Over the years, I have had the wonderful opportunity to deal with countless lovely creatures, including fish, turtles, parrots, dogs, cats, ducklings, chicks, and many more! I created this blog as a means of expression of my enthusiasm for everything related to animals.
I want to share the world of animals with as many people as possible in as many ways as possible, and that is why I will be making posts on a weekly basis, on a wide range of topics that have to do with animals. Whether it be an appreciation post to recognize the awesome professionals who care for our pets, an anecdote of the time I was bitten by a monkey, the hard truth about how climate change is affecting our animal friends all over the world, or a step-by-step how-to manual on how to hatch your own ducklings, this blog is dedicated to one simple goal: to open your eyes to the awesome world of animals that share this earth with us.
